| Once he was known as Cleetus Rooker, one-half of the sinister “Hopscotch Killers” along with his brother Clem (Nine Lives.) The pair operated near the area where a person can stand in Colorado, Utah, Nevada and Idaho all at once. Eventually the police caught up with them after a tip from their brother Claude. Clem was arrested, but Cleetus tried to hide in the abandoned wire-making factory they called home. A loose step in the attic sent him falling through the ceiling and into a scrap dumpster filled with countless lengths of rusty wire, barbed wire, and razorwire. Cleetus screamed in pain- and figuring that tipped off the authorities, he panicked. His hysterics only tangled him further as he unsuccessfully tried to free himself from the wires. The police found him, a screaming bloodied mass of coils and blood; more steel and wire than flesh. The Evil Wardens heard about this, and lovingly incarcerated Cleetus under the new name of “The Thicket.” For all his agony The Thicket holds both Nine Lives and Trigger Treat accountable, and will flay them alive. | |||||||||

Once The Thicket sets foot in the arena, his numerous long-range Attacks and Counter-Range (the best in the game) turn 60% of the game board into a veritable deathtrap. With an absurd lack of effort, The Thicket can reel enemy Slashers in and tangle them up- and no one ever escapes his clutches in one piece. |
RAZORWIRE ARMOR - Projectile attacks have a hard time making it past The Thicket's coils. |
