Built upon Los Diablos- the volcanic landmass that queerly rose from Los Angeles' earthquakes- The Mangletorium, or "Blood Island", is widely regarded by Slashers, Wardens and AMPUTHEATRE fans alike as the most dangerous arena of all. Devilish in its simplicity, all it required was the effort of keeping a twenty-five-foot Great White shark alive in captivity. Deposed Evil Warden Anastassia Varga built the shark's enormous salt-water tank around her jungle-themed arena, with a five-foot-deep salt water tank surrounding its perimeter. Slashers believing they can avoid the pool need to consider their opponents' desire to throw them into the island's enormous stone idol fire pit. Forced into combat with each other because of the arena's decreased (barely above UN regulation) size, the Slashers redden the waters with each other's blood- further arousing the hunger of the tank's vicious inhabitant. Few arenas can meet the spectators' demand for hand-to-hand battle like The Mangletorium can. And no Slasher, when rising to their feet on the beach, is above grabbing sand for an opponent's eyes.
