| Naming themselves after the very bird that impales its prey (the head of which inspires their ski masks), the Shrikes are the largest youth gang in the United States. Their reputation remains fierce- even with their man-monster leader and notorious cop-killer Loggerhead locked away in the Mangletorium. Though still able to command his gang from the confines of his cell, his absence from the turf battles is felt upon the Shrikes’ morale. To hasten his release, Loggerhead testified against the Evil Warden Varga in the hearings over her “Angelgate” scandal. Lying in court, he cited that upon confiscating the masks of dead Shrike competitors, Varga would fit innocent people with them and force them to fight in her Mangletorium. The other Wardens used this false testimony to imprison Varga as a Slasher herself. In her last act as a Warden, Varga extended Loggerhead’s sentence to twenty-five more AMPUTHEATRE contests- mostly as an opportunity to kill him herself. However, Loggerhead is still a Shrike- and to fight one Shrike is to fight all of the Shrikes... | |||||||||

For a low-player game, Loggerhead should be tops on your list. No one wants to tangle with this muscle-bound powerhouse- which just gives the big "L" more time to summon his posse. The Shrike Thug serves Loggerhead as a meat shield, while the Shrike Gunner herds enemies with suppressing fire. |
