| Formerly a tailor in Vermont, Ichabod Xerxes was forced to abandon his identity and life after he bore witness to a brutal mob hit. The Witness Protection Program gave him a new identity- Irwin Nabors, vegetable farmer- and relocated him and his family to Northern Michigan. Two months later however, an explosion destroyed Nabors’ farmhouse along with his wife and three children- somehow their cover was blown. The trauma drove Xerxes/Nabors homicidally mad. Blaming loose lips for his misery, he became such a glossophobe that he stapled his own jaw shut. Taking the name of Ixnay, he went after not only the mobsters that killed his family, but also the federal agents for their failure- taking the latter’s tongues as trophies. Fitting utility blades onto thumb thimbles made it effortless for Ixnay to tear out throats, and stalking prey as armed as his gave him incredible skills of stealth over the years. Ixnay is now incarcerated and sentenced to 40 years of AMPUTHEATRE combat- his preferred means of communication being a portable chalkboard. | |||||||||

Stealth is Ixnay's watchword. He loves sneaking into frays to deliver nasty throat slices, and then using Silent Running to duck to safety before his foes can react. But Ixnay is no cowardly jackal- indeed, his Thumbnailer is almost too destructive an attack to have available so early in the game. |
