| The nine-foot-tall abomination now known as Crucifiend once terrorized the Scottish Moors. The cunning predator forced hundreds of livestock and townsfolk between its ravenous jaws, one bloody chunk at a time. Eventually a small militia formed and brought down the beast. But instead of killing it outright, they wanted the monster to suffer as its victims did. Thus, the beast was staked through the hands and crucified in the mountains. Crows took out its eyes, and rats took its fingers and nails in the months that followed. But legend dictates that Crucifiend can only be slain by a greater evil, and centuries later it escaped. Loose upon the world and attracted by the bloody scent of active AMPUTHEATRE combat, Crucifiend constantly bounds into active arenas to slay and eat anything it can. Crucifiend’s strategy is that he is blind, surrounded, feral and starving, and his weapons are his incisors- each as large as a human hand- and the stakes still in his open fingerless palms. Held fast by scar tissue and gangrene, the stakes serve Crucifiend as surrogate claws. | |||||||||

He is the epitome of abandon. The nuances of battle mean nothing to this blind, blood-drunk behemoth- Crucifiend gores and dismembers anything in his path with range, mobility and raw power. His trademark attack, the Seppukku Backhand, is the stuff of nightmares; it can shave 25-50% of a Bloodcount with but one single hit. |
